Location guide

We are based in the middle of Europe, in Frankfurt am Main / Germany. Frankfurt is with a population of more than 680,000 the fifth-largest City in Germany after Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Cologne.

And: Frankfurt ranks among the top 10 most livable cities in the world (Source: Mercer's Quality of Living Survey 2009).

The city itself belongs to the area of Rhine Main which is one of the most important economic regions in Europe. Like London and Paris it is a hub for European travel and goods traffic.

Frankfurt is the smallest metropolis in the world and the most international city in Germany. People from more than 180 countries live together peacefully here and enrich the city with their diversity.

Frankfurt offers a cultural, sporting and culinary scene for every taste. Various museums – from Ancient History to Modern Art – wait for visitors as well as multiple cinemas. The music scene with the Opera is highly decorated; also theatre enthusiasts will find lots of entertainment opportunities. Techno music, electronic beats, modern dance music, jazz, rock, alternative, salsa, hip hop etc. also play a big part in Frankfurt's music scene.

If you are more into sports and recreation Frankfurt and its surrounding region offer countless city parks, the Frankfurt City Forest, the Rhine and Main rivers and the neighbouring mountains and vineyards. Various sports clubs, fitness studios, organized runs, skate events, city marathon, the Iron man competition and much more stirs athletes hearts.

Because of the many different nations living in Frankfurt, the culinary scene is very diversified and modern. But: Don’t miss a “real” Frankfurter delicacy: Cider, called “Stöffche”, which can best be enjoyed in an apple win-pub in Sachsenhausen or Bornheim.

Finally, Frankfurt is a financial centre, the city of Goethe and full of more possibilities that wait to be explored.
